Measure Your Windows Accurately

It's important to measure your blinds accurately so that your new made to measure blinds fit how you want them to.

Use our step by step guide to make sure you provide us with the correct dimensions for your blinds for your mobile home, caravan, static home, boat, home office, summer house or home.
 

Mobile home / Caravan

When measuring the window/s of your mobile home or caravan we need you to measure the width and drop as per Image 1.1. In image 1.2 the grey shaded area highlights the position of the CombiBlind outside the window opening in relation to your window based on your measurements that you have provided. The arrows indicate the windows edges.

Static Caravan / Domestic House

When measuring the window/s of your static caravan or domestic homes, whether that be a house or an apartment the windows are recessed so more measurements should be taken. In Image 1.3 you can see that we suggest the measurements to be taken: the height in each corner and the width measurements across the top and bottom of the window.

In image 1.4 the grey shaded area highlights the position of the CombiBlind in relation to your window based on your measurements that you have provided. The arrows indicate the windows edges and in this instant the CombiBlind is located inside the window opening.
 

PLEASE NOTE: WE ONLY REQUIRE THE SMALLEST MEASUREMENTS AS THE COMBIBLIND WILL BE BUILT TO THE SMALLEST MEASUREMENT OVERCOMING ANY PROBLEMS THAT MAY OCCUR. PLEASE LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING  PROBLEMS THAT MAY OCCUR.

Problem 1: The headand base of the window opening maybe bowing, therefore the smallest measurement is the middle height dimension. We require the width and smallest height dimensions.

Problem 2: The sides of the window opening maybe bowing, therefore the smallest measurement is the middle width dimension.  We require the smallest width and heightdimensions

Problem 3: The head is smaller than the base of the window opening therefore the smallest measurement is the top width dimension. We require the smallest width and height dimensions.
